Deltona Lakes Kindergarten

Operation Book Trade

One of our local parents, Sabrina Diaz, has started a program that encourages children to read for enjoyment by supplying books that children can  read and trade.  Children's books are needed to make this program possible.  Books can be new or gently used and in good condition. If you have any donations, please bring them by the office.

Daily Reading

One of the best ways to become a better reader is simply to read more and read often. Your family can start small by reading a simple book as part of a bedtime routine.  If you don't have many books at home, you can check out books from the public library.  Deltona Regional Library has an excellent children's department.  The librarians are more than willing to help you find books your children will enjoy.
